Who we’re looking for?
We are searching currently for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager. Who will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales, marketing, and business development strategies to help us keep growing.
This is an initial 3-months position could depend on the results turn into a long-term contract.
Responsibilities
- Develop growth strategy focusing both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Recruit new customers within IoT
- Expand business opportunities with existing customer base focusing on IoT projects
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Manage development ongoing active sales pipeline
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Cultivating positive interactions and relationships with sales representatives, team leaders and managers, and executives to evaluate sales strategy and results
- Motivating team members to exceed expected goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing or relevant field
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role for over 5 years
- Previous experience within IoT will be a benefit
- Previous experience within the oil and gas, finance and banking or telecommunication industries will also be a benefit
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Market knowledge
- Time management and planning skills
- A “Hunter” mentality
- The required minimum age – 25 years old
- Preferable location is Nigeria, but we’d be glad to hear from the applicants from other areas as this position could be virtual as well
